 If you're in a long-term relationship and having sex, surely you feel confident enough to experiment a little? Wy not try it both ways? It's not a job interview, you know! ;-) You won't get "fired" if you do it "wrong", so try out all your options and have a laugh about the ones that don't quite work out.
Try squatting with your legs flexed, and raise and lower your whole body. Try kneeling and rocking forward and back. Face your partner. Face away. Mix and match to your heart's content. (Whee!)
Sex with your partner is meant to be fun. If you don't laugh hard enough during sex for your boyfriend to lose his erection at least *once*, I think you're taking it 'wayyyyy too seriously!
Talk to your boyfriend about your interest in expanding your horizons. He should be open-minded enough to make a few suggestions of his own.
