 My personal definition of intimacy is to share all aspects of yourself with someone naturally and without fear. I mean both the good parts and the bad parts. We go through our lives putting on a face to the world, one that we hope will make us liked. Being in an intimate relationship gives us the wonderful opportunity to take that face off and really be ourselves, but in the company of another. To be understood completely, and to do the same in return.
I don't know if total intimacy is possible, I think each of us only get able to be intimate up to a point. That point is different for each of us.
