Question - (2 October 2008) 1 Answers - (Newest, 6 October 2008)
A male South Africa age 51-59, anonymous writes:

I'm in a relationship with an amazing guy for the past 6 months. Things started off really well and we met and chatted frequently.

Over the past few months however things have begun to change. He still loves me very much, but seems to be struggling with the fact he had his heart broken badly in the past. This, i feel is now stopping him from getting close to me.

I really do love him and we have so much in common to make this relationship work. But what can i do to reasure him how serious i am? How can i help him to look forward and develop our relationship?

A reader, anonymous, writes (6 October 2008):

Be patient; give him time; you can only help him by giving him time to get to know you and to learn that he can trust you; if you are going to put pressure on him you will surely scare him away.

Don't nag him or expect him to admit his undying love to soon; but I am sure if you can proof you are worthy it will happen.

BE PATIENT; BE LOVING and enjoy and have FUN; leave the rest to follow.

Best wishes
