 it depends what he is interested in... like if its video games... then hit some new game releases websites like ign or something and then look at some of them... if they seem like something he would like do some research on them like how the grpahics are.. things that make it diffferent from other games etc; that will get him motivated and then he might talk about other games and then you end up learning stuff aswell... so basically just look for interests then research deeper into them hope this helps :)

reader, anonymous, writes (24 July 2009): I was in the same position with a guy that I like recently, we get on great but it can be kinda awkward when you run out of things to say on the phone! I just said to him 'so...That's my news! I haven't been up to much so I got nothing else to tell you!' sounds crazy I know but it made him laugh and he was like 'aww come on you must have been doing something today?!' and it just helped move things along. Also you could try just telling him what you're doing, 'Oh I'm listening to this really great song, have you heard it?' stuff like that. Good luck! x
