Me and my girlfriend are both virgins and we are getting near to the point in our relationship where we both want to have sex! I have heard that it will hurt my gf and I know that those rumours are true but I have also heard that it will hurt me as well! can anyone confirm whether this is true or not and also give some advice on how to make it enjoyable and memorable for the both of us!

I really want her and myself to enjoy it as we both want to spend the rest of our lives together!

just so that i can make this totaly clear for everyone i would NEVER have sex without protection until we are ready to have kids(which will be a few years from now) and also i dont know whether her age is making any impact on her saying not to worry about using a condom because she is 16(17 in december) and i am 19(20 in september) does anyone think there is to much of an age gap between us???

again i would like to thank everyone for their advice and i will make sure that i folow through on it and do the right thing!!!

Karlos Omnis agony auntIt will hurt, the first time don't feel you have to orgasm either.

Tell her to be completely honest with you, if she's becoming uncomfortable then you need to stop, and pick up later a different point.

Take it nice and slow, and don't be a little surprised if she bleeds a little, usually girls will.

And don't even think about doing it without protection, do you really want to impregnate her now?

hlskitten agony auntHow do you tell her you want to use protection?

You make it clear you wont be having sex with her unless you do!

I wouldnt mind betting it will hurt her less if you use a condom anyway. Lubrication on it.

She might be thinking you dont want to use condoms, i would be surprised if she wants to get pregnant when you are in the early stages of a relationship.

Be careful there.

A reader, anonymous, writes (10 August 2007):

It shouldn't hurt you none - really. But it may hurt her (esp if you've got a large penis). Just go slow. Insert an inch at a time - that way she gets used to it better than shoving all your cock in her at once.

Like someone else said, she might bleed if you're ripping her hymen. Don't worry, this is natural. Just keep pushing through. If she tells you to stop then stop. But if she doesn't say anything - push through the hymen and tear it. She may feel really right as she's a virgin, but this too is normal. the vagina will expand to your penile dimentions.

Don't try to f#$% her like a porn star! Instead - be gentle and careful. Know that every move you make she feels times two! So be gentle and careful.

Follow her lead. She might do something like grab your butt and pull you in or press on your stomach to keep you from going too deep. if she pulls you in, go deep. If she pushes you out, stay shallow.

She might not cum but you most definitely might.

Happy first time!

A female reader, anonymous, writes (10 August 2007):

I know a lot of girls who try to trap men by saying that you don't need to use protection. pre-cum gets a girl pegnant too. You don't have to actually ejaculate inside of her. Do not have sex with her if she won't use a condom. Don't believe her if she says you can just pull out because there are ways she can make you stay in if that is what she's trying to do is trap you & like I said pre-cum gets girls pregnant too. That's how I got pregnant actually, I'm pregnant right now so I know. Also if she says she's on the pill, don't believe her. Even if she is, the pill isn't 100% effective. That's why I am here right now, my mom was on the pill & did not want another baby. She will also lie if you confront her about the whole trapping thing. women will do anything when they have their mind set to something. Now I am not saying she's trying to trap you, but it strikes me as a bit odd that she's insisting you don't use protection!! Please be smart about it. And it really doesn't feel much better without a condom, especially to a female, so don't fall for that line.

And yes it did hurt him a bit, even though he wasnt a virgin. You're breaking through a piece of skin. It might bleed a little too. Dont worry! But once its done and dusted, the next time you will be well away! Lots of guys like sleeping with virgins! so it cant be all that bad mate.

Good luck
