Hi everyone!!

I'm in a bit of a dilemma! I'm 19 and I have been working with a guy who I now find out is 38 (OMG) who I thought was a lot younger at first haha!! I have been working with him for a fair while now and have developed feelings for him! I didn't think anything would progress due to age and his own feelings etc so was happy to not follow up on it! BUT then I find out he really likes me and is scared himself as we have so much in common and get along so well but neither of us have a tendancy to date people with more than a 6 or so year difference!! What should I do..... I really enjoy being around him and spending time with him... he genuinley makes me feel wonderful!! Is it really that bad please help??

A female reader, anonymous, writes (16 August 2007):

I wouldn't do it because when you are his age, he will be 57. If you can just casually date that's o.k. but he being older will probably end up wanting more & you may get sick of dating someone twice your age & want to date men your own age.

GoddamnedROCKSTAR agony auntFirst off, I'm very happy you've found someone that you have feelings for, I think you should go for it, baby. Frankly, what's the worst that could happen? You like him, he likes you, yes, there's an age gap, but that can be overcome. Give it a fair shot, and congratulations. =)
