I have been with my boyfriend for 9 months. I'm 25, he is 30. We get on really well, never have arguments and love each other very much.

The only thing is, for 3 weeks we haven't wanted to sleep with each other. We have spoken about this problem. It's now become awkward, but we don't want to end the relationship. He has 2 children to a previous relationship, which sometimes causes us not to have time on our own.

I love his children and this doesn't bother me but I think he thinks he puts pressure on me.

A reader, anonymous, writes (25 March 2005):

Dont worry, it's normal for two people who are in love to "go off" sex for a while. If it is really bothering you then try booking a table for just the two of you, then off to a luxury hotel suite, bottle of Champagne from room service and you never know.

If this fails to work try experimenting, I mean the missionary is great but hey, plenty of time for that when you hit 40.

Toys, outfits and even adult videos could give you both some idea of what you would like to try.
