I had emailed a guy at a bank (on business email account) that I thought was attractive. Thanked him for his help and that I owed him. I said "How about a drink sometime?" He wrote back (on business email) it was a pleasure doing business with me. He also left his personal cell phone number for further convience... but never answered question. Is he interested???

A reader, anonymous, writes (24 September 2010):

honestly, IMO....I think that he is interested. A guy that is not interested would definitely NOT leave you his personal number. He obviously wants to hear from you outside of work, otherwise he'd have just provided you with his work number/extension whatever. If you feel up to it, you should go for it! :)

Aunty BimBim agony auntHis personal cell was an indication he would like to hear from you.

As already mentioned, if he works in a bank his emails could be screened for content. Many banks do not permit their staff to use company computers, or even phones, for private reasons.

Give him a call, and good luck with it all!

The Realist agony auntI would call the number and ask him there. It is a possibility that his emails could be screened and therefore would get in big trouble having a conversation about dating a customer during work time. Definitely call him to find out.
