 i think another reason.... contact her and talk to her for a little while. if she instantly hangs up then it might be that she doesn't want to talk. if she responds and says any form of greeting then your in luck.

You were right not to reply. I f he wants to get in touch then he will. If you do not want anything more to do with him then just ignore it. He will soon get bored.
