 Personally I'm not into complete smooth shaven because they tend to become a prickly stubble. Use a pair of scissors to keep a trim, doesn't have to be cut too short, just has to be enough that your penis is visible even when completely flaccid.

but if all the hair was shaved off i wouldn't feel i was with a manly man.
So i think some grooming/trimming is the best option.
You can trim with scissors or an electric shaver.
Try not to shaved EVERYTHING off, also, because you might end up with a shaving rash down there after a few days.
and hair removal down there may leave you with an irritation also.

One even said she never took balls in her mouth before because many guys are just too hairy. Another benefit is it makes your junk look longer. Plus I think it's just more comfortable. Less sweaty, less smelly. Just cleaner all around.

 I prefer to shave but short hair is fine too. Triming isn't always the best if the hair comes up on the shaft and if your scrotum has alot of hair on it. I wouldn't use any chemical based product because I knew someone who did and it burnt like crazy. Hair doesn't make you a man your actions do. So if you want to be shaven it won't be something your girl will be mad at.

As for what women prefer, it really varies, but I like some hair there; it's manly and grown-up. Little boys are bald there; men aren't.

Hair removing cream may leave your skin look ugly, as genital parts have very sensitive skin. Dont ever shave reversely, as you may bleed and get permanent marks all over there. Use good quality of razors and always shave to bottom direction. For shaving you must have enough time and also calm place, so that no one can disturb you. Dont be in hurry, you may cut yourself.
