They like me, I push away, I like them and they move on, how to deal with this issue?

When i start liking someone, i like them the most when i first start talking to them and when they dont like me that much. but when they start talking to me more and liking me more, i push away and like them less and less, i dont know maybe i like a challenge? but then in the end i always get hurt. i usually like someone after theyve already liked me and now they moved on.. how can i helllllp this???
