Hello Cupids, well, theres this girl ive recently started talking too ive taken a big interest in, now i got her number the first day we started speaking, and we have been texting alot. Ive been told by somebody that knows her that im not her type, i can do better (which frankly, i cant :P nor want too) but the peices fit, her overview on life is have fun, be happy, have a laugh, as is mine, and ive always found girls with a...loving for life as it where, ive got on with very well. Now the last girl who was sorta like this one, basicly turned into one of my best friends, mainly because i never told her how i felt, because i was too scared to mess up the friendship, sooo how can i make good friends with her, but not overly good as to smother my chances of a relationship starting? Should i tell her early on how i feel? or just act more interested than friendly?

Thanks in advanced =]

Best bet is to straight out tell her how you feel, or if not ask take her out somewhere and see what her reactions are, if they are postive then perhaps think about making a move.

With two guys who wanted to go out with me are my best mates - and but i have a healthy relationship with no barriers up once that first hurdle was over. I had dated them but found myself being better friends after a 'cooling period' (distance if you get what i mean) after we dated.

My new housemate is now quite affectionate, and takes me out everywhere and i dont know which way to take it - if its mates then great as im seeing someone but felt uncomfortable when he hugs me as i never know what he wants - once its out in the open then im sure ill be fine. I even talked openly about the guy i was seeing to see if there was a reaction, n there kinda was... eek but this is not the kinda situation you want to get yourself in - the whole texting alot thing is a good basis to go by!! go ahead and see!!

Good luck
