The end is in sight for our relationship. Should we just break up now?

My boyfriend and I met at my Uni and have been together for 7 months. He was away for 4 months this summer visiting his parents in his home state, but we remained a couple. Now he's back, but says he will be leaving back to his home state in 3 months for good. He wants to leave because our Uni doesn't have the major he's looking for.

I really care about him and he cares about me too but we both know that long-distance relationships are hard and so we will breakup in 3 months when he leaves. We both want to stay friends when he leaves but my question is: Would it be easier for us if we break-up now? Or should we stay together for his last 3 months here and then end it? Either way it will hurt me, but please help.

Hi,

I would stay 'till the end. Like a favourite dessert I would savour him to the very last bite!!!!!

Maybe you should stay with him for the last 3 months enjoy each and every moment you have together, if he is in another state in 3months it may be easier to get over him
