The club all seem to have their own friends ...

Question - (22 May 2009) 0 Answers - (Newest, )
A female United States age 51-59, anonymous writes:

If you didn't stay in touch with a high school group --so many people who I know did --how do you make friends or fit into a group or club when everyone has their own group within the club?

I thought I had friends, but when I joined their club, it's like they all have their own friends, and they all carpool with each other.

Does anyone have any tips, hints or advice to give? Do you think it can work if I go slowly? I need some good advice from someone who is very people-oriented and who understands people well.

Disappointed and distraught in Detroit
