Hi David, nice to hear from you. Life can be tough being a carer, i looked after my elderly mum for a time until she went into a care home. I didnt want her to go in but she had a fall and life became very hard for me to look after her and my son (then aged 9). I hope you keep in touch.

Have a great day and wonderful life.

take care

xx

Hello, dapone 1, I am not Andrew, but your post was directed to me. You need to post again and direct it to the site admin. But, it is OK. Welcome to the site. We need more "auntie's" and if you would like to become one, good for you. I understand your position. I and my spouse cared for her elderly mother for several years, and it was a joy to do so. She never had to go to private care, and she was comfortable and happy. Go to the website and post again. I am sure you will be welcomed. Tom
