I have never had a boyfriend and I am shy but I don't want to lose this guy, I just feel stupid. HELP

i know exactly how this feels. my first boyfriend didn't kiss me for the three months we went out and that affected me in a big way with my confidence. with my next boyfriend, i was terrified of the time of our first kiss and wasn't sure how to do it, if i would be terrible, why he was kissing me [ i mean, if my last boyfriend didnt kiss me, then why would he?]. i just didn't want it to happen even though i also, like you, really really liked him.
Once i let it happen, things got better and its just breaking through the first time that really is hard.
im in my third relationship now and i find kissing my boyfriend alot easier than i did previously.
i know how it feels to think about wanting to be kissed or to kiss, and not bringing yourself to do so as you either back out or act tense enough to prevent any advances from your partner.
its just about letting your guard down, and im not saying this is in anway easy, because it isnt, but once you have experienced the first kiss things will get better and the tense feelings you have at the moment will fade with time.
