writes:I've been in a complicated relationship with the man I love for 2 years. We started off friends and as we got closer, we fell in love and we started dating, it didn't last very long, but a couple of months after we broke up, we got back together and the whole time we were apart, we never stopped talking. No matter what has happened between us, we've always stayed close... We broke up again and got back together again and then we broke up again. We're close friends right now and ocassionally he'll tell me he still loves me, but he won't ever make a commitment. Everytime we are together, we always end up holding hands and kissing, but I don't want that. I want him. He always tells me that he's looking for a change before we can go back out and honestly, I don't know what the change is. All I know is I'm going crazy. Lately things have been getting out of control and he's not acting the same anymore. He told me he would call me when he got off work the other day that way we could go watch fireworks together, but he never called, and its not the first time something like this has happened.I've always been supportive of him and everything he does and I love him, but how am I supposed to hang on if this is the kind of pain it brings with it? How can I know for sure that he loves me when he doesn't even act like he respects me??? I'm desperate at this point... Thanks for all answers.
