A male Australia age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I am 16, never had sex or anything like that, but all of a sudden there are these red dots on the tip of my penis and it burns when i pee. If i didn't know any better I'd say it was an STI but like in said, i've never had any sexual activity.

ArmyMedic agony auntIt could be one of many things including an STI that you have picked up. Unfortunately a lot of STI as passed by contact, so if some one has touched themselves and not washed their hands anything they touch then becomes a Fomite (a towel, doorknob, Xbox remote etc) you then touch that object get the infection on your hands go for a pee, and hey presto you have their STI. Here is an important lesson in hygiene, wash your hands regularly.

The other option is do you use soap down there? If so you can get a rash and a burning sensation, as soap removes the natural cleansers. When washing your penis just use warm water.

i would get it checked out, it is possible to pick up STD's and not have sex before. it could be something else, but you should have your doc look at it. it might be serious and if you wait too long, there might not be any fixing it. sorry to scare you kid, but it's true.

now take care of yourself and call your doctor tomorrow!
