I have been with my boyfriend since I was 14 and I'm not 18. We have a baby together but just lately he has been treating me horrible, always shouting at me and telling me what to do.

He has got this friend who is always nice to me and always makes me laugh. When we go out he will always offer to buy me a drink. I just can't stop thinking about him 24/7. He is in my head. What shall I do?

xxxsoulsistaxxx agony auntWell I always say, if you don't look after your girl, someone else will and obviously his friend is doing just that. But I wouldn't advise you to make a move. If you want to leave your partner, do that, but getting involved with one of his friends is risky business. You'll never be able to get away from him, he'll always be hanging around. Also, you don't want to break up two friends, even if he is a bit of a an idiot.

I think, if you're not happy with the way he treats you, you need to get out of the relationship. The friend may seem great now but maybe that's just compared to your boyfriend? You're very vulnerable right now and you need some time alone. Go to your mum's or a friends and take some time out to think.

Good luck and keep in touch if you like.
