My husband and I both recently got an iphone. After just a couple of days of getting my new iphone I used a gps tracking device (that we both had) and found that he was not at work one morning. He claims the device is faulty but since he has lied to me in the past, I don't believe him. Right after I sent him a tm asking him why he wasn't at work his location changed. Anyone have advice about how they would take this information. And, in regard to his past lie... he went out of the country on business (to his home country) where he contacted his old girlfriend and asked her if she wanted to meet up with him and spend the night in his hotel room- where he swears nothing happened. Should I really trust this guy? My god I sound so stupid.

Thanks for all your feedback. I really just needed to hear it from someone else. The iphone gps trackers can be turned off so I am sure he won't make that mistake again. I am thinking about puting a gsp in his car. That ought to solve it.

those tracking devices are almost 100% CORRECT.

SEEMS LIKE YOU HAVE CAUGHT YOUR HUSBAND YET AGAIN!

he is lying and giving you excuses. bottom line : he is not at work and should not be where ever he was.

hate to say this, but i would have divorced him after that incident with the ex in the hotel room where "nothing happened"... you can stick around to gather physical proof, or you can divorce him today... your choice...

A female reader, tennisstar88 United States +, writes (10 September 2010):

tennisstar88 agony aunt No, those GPS trackers on the Iphone are pretty accurate..what a piss poor excuse. Well, you must not trust him if you were looking up where he was going that day when you knew he was supposed to be at work. About his previous lie, why would he go through the trouble to ask his ex girlfriend to come to his hotel room just to sleep in the same bed, no sex? I'm not buying that. And you just reread your post. So now what do you think?

I smell a cheater, now if you really wanted to I would let him stray on that GPS tracker again and then get into the car to drive to his current location to catch him red-handed. There would be your physical proof right there. For me all it would take is one time, I would slap my husband so hard with divorce papers he would have one nasty paper cut. Personally, I think if you forgive them or try to work through it then that's just giving them the green light to do it again. Who's to say they learned their lesson? No, I wouldn't trust your husband if I was in your shoes. And in a marriage you have got to have trust.
