A reader, Wse Worm, writes (6 January 2005):

Let her choose freely! You don't want her to blame you later in life for opportunities missed! But be warned, a long distance relationship will probably not work. A new college brings a new life, change in personality and new friends of all sexes. So if she chooses to leave, keep the memories and friendship but don't promise a undying love, one of you wll get hurt.
