writes:I am dating a guy that lives an hour and half away.We have been dating for 3 weeks... still very new. Everything is going really well. He is calling a lot, texting really nice things often... yet we have only been on 3 actual dates.He must like me... he contacts me often... I guess I'm assuming that means he likes me... but I'm confused...We talked tonight... I told him that a business associate offered me 2 tickets to the MLB game in his city. They are for June 12th (week from Friday)...He said he cannot go because his parents are going out of town and they asked him to stay at their house and watch their new puppy for the weekend!My immediate question was... so you aren't able to leave their house all weekend? He said he can leave, he just has to stay there at night... and if I am there I would then have to stay the night at his parents house... I dropped the subject because I would have turned it into a debate.. and I would have regretted that:)If the situation was turned around... I would invite him to hang out with me at my parents house and to stay the night with me... what am I missing??? Can someone help me sort this out... my feelings are so hurt because it seems like such a lame excuse... do you think there is any validity to this lame excuse??? Or should I be taking a hint??
