writes: I'm really good friends with the girl i fancy and i told her not so long ago that i fancied her and she said she was busy at the moment. I know she was being serious because we're doing our exams at the moment and we're friends so she wouldn't just lie. However theres a real chemistry between us now but we're still doing exams.So I don't know when to ask her because i think if i ask her now she still be busy but if i ask her when we finish it'll seem like i think she definately will now she isn't busy?  Leave it until after the exams and see how the land lies. You probably is busy at the moment and wants to do well and the less stress we have around such times the better. leave a week or so after the exams and build from there and see how things go... take it slowly and casually ask what she is up to... she will be easier to talk to when there is less pressure... be cool about it see what happens, let her know thatyou like her, but the less pressure the better.

 I think you should leave it until after the exams!! Way after, try and ask her when you are all alone, maybe in the summer. She won't be as busy then will she? Before you ask her out, ask her if she feels the same way about you, then make the move!!

reader, anonymous, writes (12 June 2005): If you are at school, there will always be exams again. So that is somehow an excuse. Let time pass a little, be patient. Don't ask so soon again because she might feel unconfortable and get away from you. Is better if you spend some time with her, have fun, make her feel special. If you see a change in the way she looks at you... then is when you have to take a shot again!Good Luck!
