Should I trust him or not?

okay so me and this guy have been talking as friends for about a month and a half now. I know he likes me and same goes for him but the problem is I don't know whether or not to believe that he is still together with his ex girlfriend. He said no but did mention that she still calls him but that thier relationship is nothing serious. Also she has a myspace and updates her sutus with things about him and says stuff like she is going to visit him. An there is also a possibility that she could be in charge of his myspace. Plus on myspace there was a pic of the two of them kissing qnd when I asked him about it he said that it was really old and she doesn't mean anything to him. but i'm really not sure he seems like the honest kind of guy but with the other girl i just can't tell. p.s I got two private calls the same night she said she was supposively going to his house(how I know that from her myspace!
