Hey i have a question, i have been on birth control for 2 months now and i have been taking it every day however not the exact same time, probably an hour or 30 mins. difference, last night me and my boyfriend slept together and he didn't pull out and it went on almost all night. Should i take Plan B or do you think my birth control is enough? ( i started taking Birth Control Orthocyclen Low from last month and i got my period in time so i know it works) Thank You!

tennisstar88 agony auntIt takes 1-3 months for the birth control to set in your body..you don't have to take it at the same time everyday but pretty close..and don't do the whole taking a week's worth all at once, bad idea. If you aren't used to it yet, I used to set a timer on my phone to remind me, take it with breakfast, or any other pills I take. If you fail to keep up on it, then you might want to look into other types of birth control, like the depo shot. Not using any condoms? I would suggest doing so, pull and pray doesn't work...birth control isn't 100% proven to prevent pregnancy. Couldn't hurt to get the morning after pill, you can go to the local pharmacy and buy it without a prescription, do it as soon as possible there's only so many days after a night of unprotected sex that you can take it. Better safe than sorry.
