writes:one of my friends whom i've had a bit of a crush on for a while now broke up with her boyfriend about a month ago. after that we spent more time together and i really started to like her. i let it slip about 2 weeks ago that i liked her, and she essentially said it was too soon. it was a little awkward but we still hung out and had a great time a few times after. then all of a sudden she said we talk too much, and that she needs space. i haven't heard from her in about a week. i'm not sure if she's even into me at this point. so i guess my question is: i got her this cd i know she wants for her birthday which is next week. should i still give it to her, or would that just upset her, and i should better wait?
