Should I send him an e-mail letting him understand I'm interested, or do you have other suggestions on how to approach him further?

Question - (4 November 2008) 1 Answers - (Newest, 5 November 2008)

I like this guy at work and it seems he likes me as well b/c he uses alot of non-verbal techniques for flirting with me, e.g. he winks at me every time he sees me alot and touches my arm also (I wink back at him and touch his arm as well). Lately I've been saying "hi, sexy" when I see him. So in an effort to find out how he really feels I managed to obtain his email address from the internet. I'm thinking about sending him an email that just says "HI" and add a winking smiley face. Wouldn't he be surprised to learn that I have his email address!! How do you think he would react to my email? Any other suggestions?

Thanks to reader anon for your reply. It sheds a different light on things. I sure wouldn't want to freak him out although I believe he's the type to be flattered. From what I'm reading in dearcupid, winking and touching is a very common means of flirting but I'd like more than that. Perhaps I'll turn my attention to a guy at work who really likes me, and wants more than flirting from me as well. Can I know if you are male or female?
