Any advice???On the smoking front I have been trying to quit for a while and this week I have started to take champax so will be off them in a week or so. Your best bet is to "come clean"... and reveal to her that you have been smoking and are trying to stop..... IF she gives you a pass.... you damn well better STOP, STOP NOW and NEVER pick up a weed again!!!!
WE (former smokers) are the WORST for detecting and abhoring smoke (smokers).... so don't think - for a minute - that you can take a smoke when you are not with her....
IF she's worth dating.... then she's worth giving up cigs to get and keep her attention...
ON THE OTHER HAND... if you have 1/2 a brain, you will give up the cigarettes, anyway.....

 I can't see what harm there is in telling someone you are trying to quit smoking, BUT I wouldn't tell her it's partly for her. Not on a first date. That is a little TMI.
Just tell her that you are trying to quit smoking so you might be a little jumpy - I think any girl can appreciate that. Just make SURE you check and see if you can drink with the medication.
