Should I go to the doctor about this or am I worrying about nothing?

hey everyone I need some help. i am a 16 year old girl and am very thin. last week i went onto this website to see what my bmi was and found out my bmi is 15.6. Should i go to the doctor about this as its low or am i just worrying about nothing?

It depends on how you feel. Ignore the BMI - it is only a guide. By the BMI people who are clearly ok (eg brad pitt, matt damon, rugby players etc etc) are overweight. and the same is true with lower bmis. I am very skinny myself and have a lowish-bmi and have always felt perfectly fine. If your eating well and exercise and feel healthy and well, i dont think you have a problem at all.

But if you do have any concerns, do go to your doctor just to be sure. he won't think your being stupid or anything and its always better to be safe than sorry.
