Straight after the break up we remained really close every1 thought we were still 2gether i cud still talk 2 him bout anything, but after work experience we stopped bein close i hav a strong feeling it has something 2 do with some friends he made a work experience that met me about. So when we got back 2 skl after work experience he went through a stage of barely talkin, he even used 2 blank me his friends wud notice dis, this was at da end of yr 10. Now were in yr 11 we r talkin 2 each other now which is ok but only brief so we r kinda friends but it's not as close like b4 work experience. His birthdays in 2 weeks n i really want 2 get him sumthing he gave me sumthing but we were goin out but still i want 2 get him sumthing im finkin of puttin £1o in a card but i don't want 2 look desperate should i get him something or not.

So what's the situation now? You're talking as mates but not as close as you used to be? You could get him something friend-ish like chocolate, i wouldn't get him anything big though cos then it'll seem like you really like him. Think why you broke up with him, and be realistic about it. I know how you feel, it's confusing, but try not to jump to conclusions :)
