writes: hey, im 17 and have a lil prob between 2 guys... just wondering do you think its wise to go for a guy iv liked for over a year and we hav heaps in commen but not sure if he even likes me. His a year older and he also lives 45mins away but when ever i talk 2 him or think of him i get that 'feeling'. or a guy that i also kinda like who lives just round the corner from me who really likes me but dont hav alot in common and am also concerned that his almost a year younger than me... Everything tells me to try with the older guy but im scared ill keep liking him and nothings ever going to happen why im letting a really nice guy walk past...i know, stupid question but any help would be appreciated xxx Reply to this Question

 Hey sweet this isn't a stupid question at all! Making decisions in life can be truly agonizing. What's always so hard is that that we can't know which of the options is the better one. There's no way we can know. And because we can only live one life, we will never know if the alternatives would have worked out better. The only thing we can go on is intuition. If you feel that really truly in your heart that you would be better with the guy that lives far away, then you are lucky. Often we have to make decisions without such gut feelings. So follow your instinct. Yes, it is true that you may be letting a really nice guy go by. But remember when you are choosing between two good alternatives that, however tough this may be, you are lucky. Go for what your heart says and I hope your good luck keeps up!
