Okay.. so heres the deal... I have been dating a girl for almost a year now. We have a 4 year age difference and its never bothered us that much. Today however we both realized that at some point her parents need to find out (I'm the older one.) She's currently 17 and I'm currently 21. In her state We're fine as long as the Law goes but the only problem is telling her parents. I live away but I'm willing to visit her for this to be there in person. Part one of the problem is How to approach this situation and part two is how to make my girlfriend hopeful and calm about the situation. According to her her mother is very unreasonable. Shes scared that her mother will be very angry at her and probably shun her. How do we work this out? Should we just do it on our own or have friends of hers that know me and know I'm a good person have supporting words for this case? Any advice would be helpful in relation to everything.
