Red rash all over hands

Just a quicky, i regularly get this red rash all over by hands in some areas its solid red and in other areas blotchy. i have ecxema do you recon its just my excema playing up (i'm awfully sorry i can't spell excema/ecxema?!?) it isn't itchy, it just doesn't look to hot. any suggestions: should i be seeing a doctor, creams, herbal remedies?
