PeterPan makes a good point in regards to oral sex but each woman is different and I would rather see it before saying if I think it should be trimed.

For me, trimmed short... something that is short enough not to get in my tongue's way, but maybe long enough to pull with my lips closed. A pattern is nice, but not all that important as long as my first condition is met. Arrow sounds neat, but just a trim patch over the pubic bone is fine for me, clean everywhere else.
