writes:me and my boyfriend, we have been going out for 1 yr 9mnths now and he has a sister who is my friend i met him through her. At first i told her i liked her brother and she tried to get us together and we went out for about 2 weeks briefly, it was nothing like a relationship cause we never saw each other, i was soo deeply in love but he wasn't so to stop hurting i stopped the stupid relationship. I used to be at my friend's house like all the time but when i noticed my friend doesnt even visit me, and her brother doesnt like me i stopped going to their house.After that i heard all sorts of things about me saying she only came here for my brother etc i ignored that. After about a yr i met them at a party and i spoke to them i was happy and i was way over him.After a few months he started making a move, cause he liked me then, i wasnt really into him as much as before. So during that time, i was getting my friendship back on track with my friend. She didnt know what her brother was doing, and i wanted to tell her then her brother stopped me, he said its his sister and he will tell her in his own time. When he finally told her, it was about 3 months after and after i gave him the push.When my friend knew she was cursing me, bitching about me and that, she wasnt being a friend at all. I heard this from third parties, some of it i heard it myself when i rang and my other friend would pretend to hang up. I was soo uncomfortable, but i could not confront her, because it would also create hatred for the people who told me whatever she said behind my back and when she see me, she would pretend to like me, I do not know if it was just a reaction and she did not mean to say whatever she said, but it well did hurt me.I couldn't tell my boyfriend.After a year in the relationship she was fine and we do get along, as before. but this still does hurt me when i think about it, i do not know how to get over it. I need help.....She is also a friend that i tell stuff and she a great friend but she doesn't really share stuff with me,she keeps her life to herself, i was wondering if i should do the same??Also his mum she is a beautiful person but when she found out i was with him it was weird to her as she always known me to be her daughter's friend and she said i hope she doesn't hurt my son. Why would I? fair enough it might happen but what him hurting me, couldnt she just wish us well??? It still bothers me up to this day.....help please..... Reply to this Question

reader, anonymous, writes (28 April 2011): This is verified as being by the original poster of the questionye, letting the sleeping dogs lie will be a good idea, i just need to get over it really, i am sure in time i will. Its not too much of an issue but it does occur to me sometimes, thanks
