reader, anonymous, writes (25 June 2012): Sounds to me like he may not be all that into you, or may not quite yet be ready to commit to a relationship (not because he may be sleeping around, but because he may have been badly hurt in a previous relationship).Try hanging out with him a bit more, maybe getting to know him that bit better, and being there for him. If you love him, you care about him, right? So let him know you're there for him and you care about him. If he might have a birthday coming up then consider buying him a present, that is assuming you and him are good friends and it wouldn't be sort of awkward some sort-of random person giving him a present.Perhaps try arranging a day out together or something. Cinema, bowling, bike riding, just something you'd both enjoy.Who knows, maybe you could drop subtle hints when you're with him.Alternatively, just bite the bullet and ask him out!Hope this advice helps, and wishing you the best of luck.x
