writes:Hi everyoneI have a quick question for you all and would love your opinion.There is this guy at the local pub where myself and some friends hang out a few nights a week after work. He has introduced himself to us and sits with us and has a drink sometimes. He is fine talking with the others but when i talk to him he just gives me one word answers or just answers a question then just sits quitely. when he doesnt think i am looking he stares at me then other times he completely ignores me. when i do talk to him and he answers he looks at me then quickly looks away and doesnt say anything else.Im not sure what the deal is here, is it possible he is not quite sure what to make of me or does he not like me? I have never said or done anything rude to offend him, just tried to be friendly and have a normal everyday conversation.What do you think? Reply to this Question

 I reckon he fancies ya, and is having an attack of the 'jelly wobbles' in his tummy when he makes eye contact with you, I get them when i meet someone I really fancy, its really annoying as I can't get more than one word out. lol. and if I do manage it, i stutter, and once i even dribbled. Soooo embarrassing.
I'm quite sure this is the reason he is behaving this way, people that dislike you usually make it a bit more obvious than one worded answers, their eyes would show it, and you'd not be wondering like this.
Perhaps you could join him at bar and have a one on one chat, ask him to help you get the round in, or offer to help him, just to break the ice.
