Not in love with my partner any more... but could she really take our son away so I'd never see him?

Hi there, I'm Mark and I've been with my partner for over 4 years. We live together and have a 3yr old son. I think I fell out of love her years ago and have only stayed with her to have contact with my son, although she says if we split up I would still get to see him.

On one or more occasions she has said if we did, she'd run away with my boy and never I would be allowed to see him again. The other part which I have previously asked about is her friend, which I think I'm falling for big style. I can't stop thinking about her.

I really like this girl, although I don't have a clue how she feels about me. This situation is about a lot more just me and this girl getting together although it feels detrimental to the conclusion.

I'm not sure I can move on and if I can just forget about her, but I can't lose contact with my little star, who's more important than my personel feelings. I just really don't know what to do and how to do it. PLEASE HELP ME

Consult a lawyer- I'd doubt that you would be denied any sort of vistiation unless it would endanger the child, but you might as well get a real answer from a family lawyer.
