I catch him starring and he hugged me again this time held me closer his hands around my waist.Now we are living different states I away doing an internship he lives small rural area. He is busy with work, we are keeping in touch. He loves hearing from me, likes keeping in touch and tells me stay safe where I live. Do guys usually keep in touch with a woman not known very long. I just never had a sweet shy guy to show interest in me. I have always met and attract jerks players want to lie and play mind games. all I am is being myself get to know guy.better by being a friend and kind but I am also shy so I am taking a chance with this guy.

 I think its probably a bit of both. Currently your lives have gone down different paths, to the point that trying to maintain any sort of romantic relationship is almost impossible.
I suggest you finish your internship, and he finishes his current work schedule and you meet. IF there is something there then you can see if your lives are going to be more compatible.
