writes:one of my guy mates (we have been seeing each other on and off and hes been really confusing me)well last night we were walking to his house and he said "wait two minutes" and LEFT me standing in a dark street corner :( he NEVER came back. i rang him and i heard him talking to people and i was so scared, i thought i was going to be mugged at one point it was around 3am..i cnt believe a best friend would do this to me, when i rang him he just hung up..esp after him kissing me and he wud just walk off like this? :( am i right to be annoyed- ive forgiven him in the past over little things

he was my best friend like- our friendship was pretty messed anyways because he wants to kiss me etc and then goes distant with me..so now im guessing he heard im going out with a new guy now and maybe him leaving me alone was a way of showing he was jealous? :( i was only being honest with him as he acts like he isnt bothered when i get with a guy but underneath it he acts distant

Next thing he had a new girlfriend and I was fogotten like I didn't exist. He didn't care if I never talked ever again, just didn't care.He did the damaged and I paid for it. What I call a low selfish bastard who only cares about himself and how he looked in front of his friends.

 He's not a best friend. Best friends do not do those things. You might think you're his friend, but he doesn't feel the same way about you, as he obviously demonstrated.
Me, personally, would avoid speaking to him and would certainly never go anywhere with him at 3 am. I would be done with that and done with him.
If you don't stand up for yourself, no one else will. People will treat you the way you expect to be treated. Just think about that statement a bit, I think it's key to managing a lot of relationships.
