 Well it is obvious that you really like this girl. All those years ago you liked her but you forgot about those feelings because the both of you lost oontact with each other. Then when you got back in contact with her it opened up all of those old feelings for you.
You say you saw her picture therefore I am assuming you have both regained contact over the internet? If thats the case why not suggest to her that you both meet up in person and take it from there. Take things slow and see how the both of you get on. Goodluck.
