writes:i am 14 years old and i think there is somthing wrong with me. my friend said i am one of the prettiest girls in the year but when i look at my self i see a ugly baby faced freak i hate everything about my self my lips my nose my eyes everything!!!!!!when i talk to my freinds they just say i am only saying this so i get compliments which is wrong and they say i have very low self esteem.although one of my feinds (who i have known for 11 years)is kinda mean to me she told me the other week this boy who i like will say i am ugly (my freinds said she is being mean and is jelouse) but it really knocked me down is she tellin the truth or being mean?is there somthing wrong with my self esteem ?

 You have the same problem I had. I used to hate everything about myself but now I'm not so horrible to myself. I think what you need to do is to take note of what your friends are saying to you [You're pretty and all the other stuff they say] and look in the mirror and say it to yourself. You might feel like a complete plank saying you're pretty to yourself in the mirror but it works.
Don't let what your other friend said bring you down. Maybe she is just jealous of you because someone likes you and not her... Just take no notice of her.
