My friend stopped replying to my text messages. What should I do?

i have an odd relationship with a friend who is a boy. we've known each other for about 5yrs and we both like each other alot (and know we both do) but yet we aren't dating! we always seem to be texting each other but last week he suddenly stopped texting me and doesnt text me back!im confused. did i do something wrong? Should i text him to ask him why he's not replying? what should i do?

rcn agony auntI wouldn't give up on him yet. The other answer is right, there could be a number of things that could have happened. A five year friendship is a long time, you'd more than likely know if you had done something wrong.

penta agony auntThere are any number of reasons he's stopped -- including having lost his phone. Use another method of communication (face-to-face, e-mail, parents' phone) to say, "Hey, I haven't heard from you in a while. What's up?"
