I was going out with this guy and a little while later we broke up because he couldn't handle a girlfriend. Now I know he still likes me but he won't go back out with me. So what do I do to get him back?

What has changed? Why could he handle having a girlfriend now, if not before? Don't be someone other than yourself to suit a guy - it won't work or last. Move on - don't be available. Sorry.

It is a positive sign that your ex still likes you as a friend. Try and build a relationship with him over a period of time by talking, and this may make him feel closer to you and that he can open up to you more. Try and take a look back when you used to go out with him, what went wrong? Maybe you didn't talk as much as you could have, or maybe you wanted different things. You could also sit down and have a talk with him. Tell him how you feel. Find out why he couldn't handle a girlfriend and tell him you'll always be there for him. If this does not work, move on ! Is he really worth all the heart pain?
