reader, anonymous, writes (7 October 2006): sounds like ur casual friend is some what insecure, maybe he his wanting to be more than just to be casual, and just doesnt know how say it. he may be afraid of u hurting him rather than the other way around. talk to him and tell him how ur nasty comments are making u feel. and ask him what he wants. then the rest is up to u and what u want

you? I think he acts nasty to create distance between you, for one reason
or another. I don't fully understand what's the situation?
Maybe he thinks you OUGHT to be seeing someone else, since he's
only casual, or he wants to feel out the situation to see if you are
"casual" with someone else? Maybe he would like to be more?

 that is a mans way to showing hes a man sometimes not nice i know and nor is it the way we want them to act but to them its showing their a man, but maybe talking to him and telling him that the ralationships good and so is the sex but he really needs to stop thinking like he does, and to try and show he cares and explain to him how he doesnt show it, and where hes going wrong but dont tell him his going wrong! just tell him hes doing a few things you dont like and that he mucst start looking to the future with you and him.
