My boyfriend is such a drama queen.

Question - (21 March 2009) 1 Answers - (Newest, 22 March 2009)
A female United States age , anonymous writes:

My boyfriend is such a drama queen. He blows minor things into major problems and then starts a cat and mouse game where he runs and hides. He is 51 years old. His behaviour is so childish. We do love each other but I am not sure I can continue with his childish games due to the hurt that is hiding for weeks causes me. Is there anything I can do to get him to stop this behaviour. If I did not love him I would have left him months ago. I am close to doing it now because I can't play these games it takes too much toll on other parts of my life. Any suggestions on getting him to see the pain that he is causing and having him stop this? Or should I just walk away and have the pain of a heartbreak and move on. I really wish I did not love him. All his others aspects are great but we are not children.

sure - talk to him.

explain where you are and how you don't want it to continue. sit down at a table and tell him in serious that you love him but he has to change and that he is on a yellow card.
