writes: I lied to my boyfriend. He found out and he has dumped me because I lied. And to make things go from bad to worse he told me that he didn't love me any more and that he was in love with someone else and that he loved her and was going out wth her.I don't know what to do. I still love him and I think he still loves me. I think he is messed up and doesn't know who he wants. Please help me. What shall I do about it all? Reply to this Question

reader, anonymous, writes (21 May 2007): my boyfriend and i booked a holiday to spain a week after my birthday, then the day before my birthday he tells me he doesnt think he loves me anymore and then i found out he was planning to dump me after the holiday so now i am going on the holiday without him and it is the worst feeling ever after a 8 month relationship

Your boyfriend dumped you because he wanted to see someone else and used your lie as a way of blaming you for his leaving. It makes him feel better that way. As you dont say what you lied about its difficult to give a further answer.
