 Guys go to movies, shop at local grocery stores, sit on the last row in church, love karaoke as much as we do. You can find a man in just about every place you go. You might even attend a concert, go to a city park or the local zoo. If you fish, grab a fishing pole and head for the nearest lake! *LOL* You're bound to find guys there! Get all dressed up and sit alone in a nice cozy seat at the fancy resturant and watch the handsome men go by and give you the eye. Girl you have just got to get out there and be seen, cause a man can find you most of the time long before you ever notice he is even around! *-)
If in event you decide to try online dating or chat to meet someone just practice caution. Take your time in getting to know the person and don't give out your info until you know well enough that you will be safe. Never meet them alone. Never take them to your house. A dating site that moderates can be a good source. They usually help to make sure the person who is looking is safe. They usually will check out prospective dates.
Good luck and remember there is really someone for everyone but it might take you a bit to find the one. Godspeed!

 You mentioned you weren't into online dating but which have you tried? I was very against it too. I went on match.com and saw that they have a guarantee, 6 months subscription and if you don't find love you get the 6 months free. You really have nothing to lose. So I picked that deal and actually met my current boyfriend within 4 days. I didn't even need the first month! I looked it up and they do have match.com in the UK. I know you said you weren't into it but I thought I would tell you that it can work, it did for me. Plus you can keep living your life, come home and check the website to see who's on, who has emailed you, etc. It's fun. It just keeps your options open outside of who you can meet on your own. I don't know of another way to meet anyone unless you were to travel outside of your town, since it is out of men, and hang out in some destinations there. Good luck in finding someone.
