 In terms of sex, what will probably cause you to mess it up is if you think about it too much. During the activity you must concentrate solely on her reactions and act on them. If you're too busy thinking about your own performance, it will cause you to be premature and also not great because you'll miss her signals.
There are websites like okcupid.com that are free and try to match you up closely with like minded people. You could possibly use that or something similar to try and talk to girls, real ones too. It also may sound silly, but I think your confidence problem and many other guys' confidence problem stems from a fear of rejection. A helpful way of possibly overcoming it is by talking to a complete stranger in the street about anything. It may feel weird and you may think you'll look stupid but the stranger will probably have a conversation with you and it will make you believe that people are interested in what you have to say, so some girls will be too.  you need to chill out. its not like you can forget how to have sex. but practive does make perfect and most girls understand that. and as for what you should do. just go new places to meet new people and try to find a free online dating site as those are the least likely to be scams as your not paying anything.
