ok, not a sex question, cause i am a virgin...but, i started to take birth control a few days ago, and my vagina has been...well...itchy? then this morning i took a look (which is very awkward for me) and noticed that the entrance is white...like the skin. :( I'm going to my doctor today or tomorrow, but i want to know if anybody might have an idea of what it is?? :(

Reads like a yeast infection, which you can treat over the counter, however since this is your first experience you should see a doctor to make sure :-)

Lothorien10 agony auntIt does sound like some kind of viral yeast infection, I'm not sure how you could have got it, maybe from having an allergy to a new product such as soap or shower gel.

tennisstar88 agony auntIt sounds like a yeast infection..In which, that isn't one of the side effects of birth control. I could be wrong, it's best to consult your doctor.

Sounds like a yeast infection to me! Don't worry they are very common in women. They can happen for a variety of reasons, for your first yeast infection you should go to the doctor just to be sure. He will probably give you a pill and maybe a cream to help with the itching. Seriously, dont worry they happen to all girls, it does not mean that you are unclean or anything!
